Your Trusted Residential Roofing Company

Biltmore Roofing is a veteran-owned residential roofer based in Lewisville, TX. We replace and repair roofs on homes across North Dallas–Fort Worth, from Lewisville and Flower Mound to Denton, Argyle and Highland Village. Every job starts with a free inspection and an itemized estimate, so you see exactly what you’re paying for before anything gets signed.

We’ve been on the roof and in the adjuster meeting. If your roof took hail or wind damage, we’ll show you what we found and document it right. If your roof is fine, we’ll tell you that too.

Call 817-714-3366 or book a free roof inspection by clicking the button below.

What we Do for homeowners

  • Roof replacement. Full tear-off down to the deck, new underlayment, and new shingles or metal. Bad decking gets replaced, and we tell you about it before we do.

  • Roof repair. Leaks, missing or blown-off shingles, cracked pipe boots, flashing at walls and chimneys, and ridge and hip caps.

  • Hail and storm damage. Free inspection, photo documentation of the damage, and a roofer who knows how insurance claims work. More on that below.

  • Free roof inspections. Buying, selling, or just wondering about a roof that’s getting older? We’ll walk it and send you a report with photos.

  • Gutters, siding, windows and paint. We handle the rest of the outside of the house too, so the job doesn’t need three different contractors.

Roof Types we Install

  • Architectural asphalt shingles. The most common roof in DFW. We install GAF and Owens Corning, among others.

  • Class 4 impact-resistant shingles. Built to take a harder hit from hail. Many Texas insurance companies offer a discount on your premium for a Class 4 roof, so ask your agent what yours offers.

  • Stone-coated steel. We’re a preferred contractor for TEK Hurricane Metal Shake, which carries a 50-year warranty and top wind and impact ratings.

  • Euroshield rubber roofing. We’re a preferred Euroshield contractor too. It’s made from recycled rubber, it’s Class 4 impact-rated, and it’s built for long life.

  • Flat and low-slope roofs. TPO and EPDM for porches, additions and other low-slope sections.

A quick note on metal: some insurance policies limit hail coverage on metal roofs to damage that goes all the way through. That’s in your policy’s endorsements, so read your declarations page before you choose. We sell metal on how long it lasts, not on future claims.

How a roof replacement works with us

Atlas Pinnacle Pristine shingles delivered for a Lewisville TX roof replacement
Free Inspection

We get on the roof, photograph every slope, and check the decking, flashing, vents and pipe boots. You get the photos.

Itemized Estimate

Every line is on the page: materials, labor, tear-off, flashing, vents. Decking is priced per sheet, so you only pay for the boards that actually need replacing. No lump sums hiding things.

Materials Ordered to Our Standard

GAF StormGuard ice-and-water shield in the valleys, closed-cut valleys, new pipe boots, and complete new vents, not just new covers.

Install Day

Most homes are done in one to two days, weather permitting. The old roof comes off, the deck gets checked, and the new system goes on.

Clean-up and Final Walk-through

We clean up the yard and driveway, then walk the finished roof with you and hand over the warranty paperwork.

Storm Damage and Your Insurance Claim for residential roofing

Most of the homeowners who call us have hail or wind damage and have never dealt with a roof claim. That’s where we’re different. Before Biltmore, Alfredo spent years working property claims, including as an independent catastrophe adjuster. He knows what an adjuster is looking for.

Here’s what we do:

  • Inspect the roof and document every hit with photos, before you file
  • Help you understand what we found, so you don’t file a thin claim that lands under your deductible
  • Meet the adjuster on the roof and show them the damage we documented
  • Review the carrier’s scope of work and send documentation for anything that’s missing

We’re your contractor, not a public adjuster.
Your insurance company decides coverage, and nobody can promise a claim will be approved. And in Texas it’s illegal for a contractor to waive or pay your deductible, so we never offer to. What we can do is make sure the damage on your roof gets seen and documented right.

Repair or Replace? We'll Tell you Straight

Not every roof needs replacing. A two-year-old roof with a leak at one ridge cap needs a repair, not a sales pitch. An older roof with missing shingles and worn-out granules is a different story.

We’ll show you the photos and tell you which one you’ve got. A lot of our work comes from neighbors of homeowners we told the truth to.

A veteran business I want to work with: Alfredo picked up my phone and quickly came to inspect my chimney. We discussed the solutions based on my concern and he tried to save my money by doing the easier way first instead of going straight to the pricey option. I appreciate it a lot. Definitely, I will recommend him for anyone who needs to work with a honest roofing person.

A tree branch poked a hole in my roof, and after being ignored or ghosted by three other roofing companies, Alfredo with Biltmore Roofing completely saved the day. One company couldn't come out for days, another never showed up, and a third didn't even return my call. Alfredo, however, called me back within 5 minutes. He arrived quickly to inspect the damage, provided a very fair and transparent quote, and completed the entire roof repair the same afternoon. While he was up there, he even went above and beyond by proactively sealing other roof vents for me. He made sure the repair looked great with shingles that are a very close match to my existing roof, and the crew meticulously cleaned up all the debris when they were finished. Finding a responsive, honest, and fast roofing contractor can be a nightmare, but Alfredo fixed the damage perfectly before the upcoming rains could cause an indoor leak. I give them a well-deserved 5 stars and will absolutely use Biltmore Roofing for all my future roofing needs!

Last fall we had Biltmore Roofing handle our roof replacement. That project went so well that we hired them to do soffit/facia repair, exterior house painting and gutter replacement which was completed this week. Once again, the experience was outstanding. Alfredo Contreras led both projects. His crews are conscientious, hardworking and detail oriented. In both projects, Alfredo has clearly demonstrated that he is honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend Biltmore Roofing for your exterior home projects!

Alfredo inspected my roof and found it ok. But the chimney was rotten where it connected to the roof. His team completely replaced the chimney, painted it to match existing house color, and set up a way for water to fall around the chimney in the future. The work was great and everyone was friendly and efficient. They even left me the leftover paint! I wasn’t expecting this work was needed, but I am glad I found Alfredo and his team to do it!

FAQ

How much does a roof replacement cost in Dallas-Fort Worth?

Most asphalt shingle replacements in DFW run about $450 to $650 per square (100 square feet) installed, so roughly $11,000 to $22,000 for a typical home. Steep pitch, two stories, extra layers, bad decking, and impact-resistant or metal materials all move the number. Our estimates are itemized so you can see why.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most single-family homes are done in one to two days, weather permitting. Bigger or steeper roofs, or a lot of rotted decking, can add time. We'll give you the expected schedule before we start.

Should I repair or replace my roof?

If the roof is fairly new and the problem is in one spot, like a leak at a pipe boot or a ridge cap, a repair usually makes sense. If the shingles are worn out, missing in several places, or storm-damaged across the roof, replacement is the better money. We'll show you photos and tell you which one you need.

Do you install impact-resistant (Class 4) roofs?

Yes. We install Class 4 impact-resistant shingles, TEK stone-coated steel, and Euroshield rubber roofing. Many Texas insurers offer a premium discount for a Class 4 roof. Ask your agent what yours offers.

Do you offer free inspections, and do you speak Spanish?

Yes to both. Inspections are free, with photos. And we're fully bilingual, so we can walk you through everything in English or Spanish.
