The homeowner’s challenge. Water was getting in through the roof valley near the chimney on this home a short walk from Marcus High School.
Inspection findings. The valley was the failure point. The chimney and its trim were also due for attention.
The solution. We rebuilt the valley with GAF StormGuard ice-and-water shield underneath for maximum protection against future leaks. While we were up there we replaced the chimney, repaired and replaced the chimney trim, and repainted so everything matched and sealed cleanly.
